1933-1934 FORD CHASSIS (FRAME)
The Model B and Model 18 were replaced in 1933 with the Model C and Model 40. 1933 Ford improvements included a 112 inch wheel base, 6 inches longer than 1932 Ford models, other chassis improvements included a X-member double drop frame with wider 17 inch wheels and tires.
The 1933 Ford looked much more flowing, reflecting The Ford Motor Company and Detroit’s shift to more streamlining cars. The new design along with the Ford V-8 was universally applauded by customers.
